Ready to rave?

Seems like club kid fashion was all the rave during fashion week. Browse through the Spring/Summer 2015 runway collections and you'll spot these rave culture-inspired looks. Let's start off with who else, but Jeremy Scott. Not so unexpected from him, obviously, but his latest show had an additional feature of hosting Miley Cyrus's first art show. I didn't know she did installation art too, who would have thought?

Ashish sparkly rainbow looks

Luella Bartley and Katy Hillier's second collection for Marc by Marc Jacobs was inspired by the rave culture of the 80's

Electric prints and colors at the Alexander Wang show makes me wanna dance to some electronic dance music.

Blogger Bryanboy's been sporting some raver looks himself.

The Beckerman sisters always look like they're down for a rave with their crazy cool mix of prints and accessories.

NYFW x '90s nostalgia

New York Fashion week has started and look who were spotted outside the shows looking more fashionable than ever in all their street style glory; only my favorite cartoon characters from my (awesome) childhood in the '90s! I love all the illustrations especially because the artists at Swagger New York tried to match the personalities of the characters to the designers they are wearing. I can totally see Sailormoon in Rodarte, Beavis and Butthead in Jeremy Scott, and I never would have imagined a fashion forward Daria in Prabal Gurung but she looks amazing. Pure genius.
